Mzungu Volunteers is a charity working to provide quality volunteer travel opportunities in Uganda. We focus on displaced children, education, and community development in villages and rural areas around Uganda. "Mzungu" is the southern, central and eastern African term for "person of foreign descent" and a favorite word for someone new to the locals in rural villages. Become a Volunteer in Kampala, Jinja or Kabale. There are many activities available to you as a volunteer including spending time at a our orphanage taking care of the children, teaching in rural schools, working on building and renovation projects for both schools and safe water, feeding children in a nearby village, and working on farming projects available all year around.

Hope Beyond Worldwide began with the intention to place volunteers and aid the grassroots communities by initiating projects that impact the current situations facing people in those communities. Our vision is to help over 300 million people around the world in various living conditions without basic needs, like running water, education, access to health services and skills for job employment, that is why we exist! Our main focus of our programs is to share our people's culture and life experience with our volunteers in all of the projects they are helping and working together with the local people to help make a difference.
