With its various national parks, ski resorts, lakes and mountains, Utah is a wonderland for adrenaline and adventure travelers.
Utah has five national parks where you can find lots of different acitivites as white water rafting, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, camping, fishing, skydiving, ballooning, caving, between others.
Moreover, these national parks are located close together, making it possible for visitors to experience them all in an unforgettable trip.
The oldest national park in the state, Zion National Park is known for its breathtaking canyons, natural pools and overall scenery which attract thousands of travelers from around the world every year. Here, hikers of all ages and skill levels can find the perfect trail to explore.

Bryce Canyon is know for its brilliant red color. One of its main attractions, the Amphitheater, is particularly popular during sunrise and sunset, when the rich hues of the rock in the sunlight make a spectacular view of the canyon. Other sites worth visiting here are the Rainbow and Yovimpa points and the Fairyland points.
Additionally, the Arches National Park tends to be a favorite among visitors. Its wealth of beautiful natural rock formations draws travelers from near and far. The park is teeming with delicately eroded sandstone shapes, among which arches take a prominence. Anyone from beginners to avid hikers can choose from a vast diversity of trails to explore the park at their own pace and get to take in the amazing scenery.

Furthermore, Canyonlands National Park is known around the world as having some of the most challenging rapids as well as very exhilarating roads for 4x4. It consists of canyons and plateaus which are divided by the Colorado River and the Green River. It is great for hiking, camping, rafting, biking and other activities.

Last but not least, Capitol Reef National Park is characterized by the different formation of rocks. Being some of the most famous, Capitol Dome, Hickman Bridge, Scenic Drive, Golden Throne and Cathedral Valley.

Above all these national parks, Utah also offers various ski resorts as Park City, Beaver Mountain and Odgen, where you can do winter activites such as skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile, cross country skiing, fishing and others.


Park City being one of the most famous has three different ski resorts, including Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort and the Canyons. It is a world known town for top class skiing and snowboarding, it is also popular as it hosts the Sundance Film Festival every year.
For those who prefer water sports, Utah offers lakes and rivers where you can do activities such as water skiing, boarding, diving, sea kayak, rafting and more. Being the most famous ones Logan/Bear Lake and Lake Powell.
Therefore, regardless the season of the year, or the activities you prefer, Utah has it all!
