 Indoor skydiving

While is extremely exciting to jump from a plane just using a parachute as means of life saver, there are some people who still love the thrill of flying through the air without the extreme danger.

Indoor skydiving or vertical wind tunneling was invented in Quebec in 1979 and it was mainly used for skydivers training. However, not many people had heard of this type of “sport” until the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics, where they built a special vertical wind tunnel called the “Wind Machine” for the closing ceremony.

Many people as said before had never seen something like it and were intrigued and fascinated with this machine where you could fly without any wires attached. What is more, this was a really big attraction for those who are afraid of heights, or afraid to go at extremely fast speeds. Inside the tunnel you can moderate speed, as well as having the safety benefits as, cushions and a safety net in case you fall.

Nowadays, indoor skydiving is very popular as it targets all ages, and the flying centers are all over the world, being the most popular Canada, USA, Holland, Germany and UK.
