Vietnam is one of the most beautiful countries in the world; from natural sceneries to a culture filled with rich history, it is hard to not be amazed by such a place. Tourists who want to experience the fun and exciting Vietnam adventure, but also want to explore the historical sites, have come to the right country. Focusing in on the two most beautiful cities in Vietnam, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, we will explore their most treasured assets.
Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park has important geological value and in 2003 the UNESCO made it a World Natural Heritage site. The park is 500 km south of Hanoi, the nation’s capital. Of its 300 caves only 20 have been surveyed. Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park includes the world’s largest cave, Son Doong Cave, which was discovered in 2009. The name translates to Mountain River Cave and has an underground river flowing in it.
Since the battle, the Cu chi Tunnels have been enlarged enough to allow Americans to enter on their Vietnam holidays. At one time, the further an American soldier crawled into the tunnels, the narrower the tunnels would become, trapping Americans inside. Today, you can buy lighters made from war artefacts and shoot AK-47 machine guns at a nearby shooting range. Get your feet wet by traveling down one of Vietnam's rivers in a white water rafting trip like you have never experienced. If real exploration is what you are looking for than your Vietnam adventure is awaiting you.
